Terms and Conditions of Service
Inspired Consulting
Last updated: 7 October 2026
These Terms and Conditions explain how Inspired Consulting provides its services, what is included in an engagement and the responsibilities of both parties. They apply to services contracted through our website or directly with us when supplied to you before you agree to the engagement.
1 About us
Inspired Consulting is the trading name of Canaries Inspired Consulting, Sociedad Limitada.

In these terms, “we”, “us” and “our” mean the company above. “You” means the client contracting the service. A consumer is a client acting for purposes outside their trade, business or profession.
2 Agreeing an engagement
Before you contract, we will explain the service, its scope, the price or basis of calculation, payment arrangements and any relevant delivery or cancellation conditions. You will have an opportunity to read and retain these terms.
An engagement is agreed when you accept our quotation or engagement document and we confirm that we will act, or when you complete a booking for a service offered for direct purchase and receive confirmation. Signing an authority or sending documents alone does not extend the agreed scope of work.
Specific terms agreed in your quotation, booking or engagement document take priority over these general terms if they conflict. Mandatory legal protections always apply. Additional work and changes to an engagement require agreement; silence is not consent to an additional charge.
For online bookings, review the service, date, contact details and price before confirming payment. Correct any errors using the available booking controls or contact us before placing the order. If you notice an error afterwards, contact us promptly.
We will provide confirmation and the applicable contractual information in a form you can save, such as email or an attached document. We retain engagement records in accordance with our legal obligations and Privacy Policy; contact us to request a copy. Contracts may be concluded in English or Spanish, as agreed with you.
3 Scope of services
We provide tax, accounting, payroll, business administration, non-resident, immigration, residency, Social Security, holiday rental compliance, property transaction support and other administrative consultancy services, according to the engagement agreed with you.
Only the work expressly included in your quotation or service agreement is covered. A consultation, individual filing or monthly fee does not create an unlimited entitlement to assistance.
Unless expressly included, extra work may include formal notices or requerimientos, inspections, investigations, appeals, payment plans, historic corrections, rectifications, duplicate certificates, additional visits or appointments, new registrations and matters arising from a previous adviser's work.
We will explain the additional work and obtain your agreement to its fee or charging basis before undertaking it. Work required to remedy a failure for which we are responsible will not be treated as a chargeable extra merely because it involves a correction or additional submission.
Services requiring a separately qualified or authorised professional will be identified and arranged as appropriate. Court representation, litigation and specialist professional services are included only where expressly agreed with the relevant authorised professional.
4 Your information and responsibilities
You must supply complete, accurate and truthful information relevant to the engagement and tell us promptly about changes that may affect it. We may request identification, supporting evidence, signatures or further clarification before proceeding.
You are responsible for reviewing documents and information sent for your approval, responding to requests, providing funds and authorisations, and forwarding official correspondence received directly by you promptly, including the date of receipt and any stated deadline.
We may rely on information you supply, while exercising appropriate professional care and querying apparent inconsistencies. Your approval of a document does not remove our responsibility for our own errors or failures to exercise that care.
You remain responsible for obligations outside our agreed scope. Unless notification monitoring is expressly included, you must monitor your postal and electronic notifications and inform us of any relevant communication. Where monitoring is included, our responsibility extends to the authorities, accounts and periods expressly agreed.
5 Deadlines and urgent work
We will explain any relevant document delivery dates and will exercise reasonable professional care to meet deadlines within our engagement. You must provide information, approvals, funds and authorisations in sufficient time for the work to be completed.
An instruction received shortly before a deadline is accepted for urgent completion only when we expressly confirm that we can undertake it. Any urgency fee must be agreed in advance.
If information arrives late or is incomplete, we will explain the consequences we can reasonably identify. We may decline the instruction or agree a revised approach, including late submission where permitted. We will not knowingly submit incomplete or inaccurate information without a lawful basis.
You bear consequences to the extent caused by your failure to supply required information, instructions, approvals or funds on time. This does not exclude responsibility for consequences caused or contributed to by our own failure to perform the agreed service with reasonable professional care.
6 Authorities and outcomes
Applications and procedures may depend on AEAT, ATC, Social Security, SEPE, Extranjería, UGE, the Police, consulates, town halls, registries, notaries and other bodies.
We cannot guarantee appointments, processing times, approval or a particular decision. Processing estimates are indicative. Authorities may request further evidence or adopt an interpretation different from the position submitted.
We are not responsible for delays or decisions beyond our reasonable control, provided we have properly carried out our own obligations. Where such circumstances affect the engagement, we will inform you and take reasonable steps within the agreed scope to reduce their impact.
An unsuccessful application does not itself establish defective service or entitle you to a refund. Equally, this provision does not restrict your remedies where we have failed to provide the agreed service properly.
7 Advice and filings
Our advice is based on the facts and documents available and the law and administrative criteria applicable at the time. Advice for one matter or tax period should not be assumed to apply to another without confirmation.
Unless ongoing updates are expressly included, we do not undertake to revise completed advice indefinitely following changes in law or circumstances.
We will obtain any approval required by the engagement or applicable law before a filing. Where you grant authority to make routine submissions without separate approval each time, we will act within that authority and the agreed scope. We will provide submission receipts or confirmations as appropriate.
8 Taxes and third-party costs
Professional fees are separate from your taxes, Social Security contributions, government fees, notarial and registry charges, translations and other third-party costs unless expressly included.
Responsibility for your underlying tax and other statutory liabilities remains with you. This does not exclude our responsibility for errors in work we undertake.
Payment of our fees does not mean we will pay taxes or charges for you. Any arrangement for us to make a payment on your behalf must be expressly agreed and supported by the required authority and cleared funds. Where you are to make the payment yourself, you must ensure it is completed by the deadline.
Third-party expenditure chargeable through us will be disclosed and authorised in advance, or covered by a clearly agreed expenditure authority. We will account for amounts received and return any unused balance due to you.
9 Fees and payment
Fees may be fixed, recurring, hourly or otherwise agreed. The price or calculation basis, applicable taxes and payment dates will be disclosed before you contract. Consumer prices will show the total payable, including applicable taxes such as IGIC. Costs that cannot reasonably be calculated in advance will be explained.
Payment must be made according to the agreed quotation, booking or service agreement. We may require an advance payment before starting work when this has been disclosed and agreed. Advance payments are credited against the agreed service and are subject to the cancellation and withdrawal provisions below.
Direct debit collections require a separate valid mandate and will follow that mandate and applicable payment rules, including advance notification where required. Cancelling or returning a direct debit does not by itself terminate the engagement or extinguish a valid debt. Your statutory payment and refund rights remain unaffected.
If a payment is overdue, we will notify you and give a reasonable opportunity to resolve it before suspending work, except where immediate action is legally necessary. Suspension and termination follow section 18. Any interest or recovery costs claimed must have a lawful basis; no arbitrary penalty applies.
10 Monthly and recurring services
Your service agreement identifies the recurring work included, the fee, billing frequency, commencement date and any minimum term. There is no minimum commitment unless expressly agreed before contracting.
New procedures and exceptional work outside that scope are separately agreed under section 3. Annual returns, annual accounts and year-end work are included only where the agreement says so.
Unless otherwise agreed, ongoing arrangements without a fixed term may be ended by either party on 30 calendar days' written notice, subject to mandatory consumer rights. You may give notice by email. No disproportionate cancellation charge or requirement to use a more burdensome cancellation method applies.
We will explain which work and reporting periods we remain responsible for during notice and at handover. Termination does not automatically require us to prepare future returns covering past periods; this will depend on the agreed scope and handover arrangements.
Any proposed change to recurring fees or services will be notified in advance and requires valid agreement. If you do not accept, you may end the arrangement before the change takes effect without a charge for rejecting it. Fees already properly earned remain payable.
11 Consultations and appointments
A consultation covers the booked time and the service described. Document preparation, subsequent correspondence, applications and representation are included only where expressly stated.
Please contact us promptly if you need to rearrange or cancel. Any appointment cancellation or non-attendance charge must be clearly disclosed and accepted before booking, be proportionate and comply with consumer law. If no such charge was agreed, we will not impose an automatic forfeiture of the booking fee.
If we cancel and you do not accept an alternative appointment, we will refund the unused booking fee. Your statutory withdrawal rights take priority over ordinary booking cancellation conditions.
12 Communications
Email is our principal channel for instructions, documents and matters involving deadlines. Please identify the deadline and relevant authority clearly. Use katrina@inspiredconsultinggc.com unless we have agreed another channel for your engagement.
We aim to respond within two working days, excluding weekends and public holidays. This is a service aim rather than an emergency response guarantee. Where an agreed responsibility requires action sooner, we remain responsible for taking appropriate action.
Sending a message, making a call or forwarding documents does not by itself mean we have accepted a new matter. Obtain confirmation that we are acting where the matter is outside an existing engagement. We do not provide a continuous emergency service unless expressly agreed.
13 Representation and digital access
We act for you only within an appropriate authorisation, mandate or power of representation. Engagement terms do not replace any separate authority required by law or an administration.
We will use authorised representation channels where appropriate. Any handling of a personal digital certificate must be specifically authorised, comply with applicable law and the certificate provider's conditions, and use suitable security measures. We will not use authority or access beyond the agreed purposes.
Tell us promptly if you revoke authority or suspect credentials have been compromised. At the end of an engagement, we will coordinate the removal or transfer of access and representation as appropriate; both parties must complete the steps required by the relevant authority.
14 Other professionals and subcontractors
We may use suitable staff or specialist providers to deliver parts of our agreed service. Where they work as our subcontractors, we remain responsible for our contractual obligations to you.
Where we introduce an independent professional whom you contract directly, their service, fees and professional responsibility are governed by your agreement with them. We will make this distinction clear before you commit.
An introduction does not make us responsible for that independent professional's work, but we remain responsible for our own advice, selection or coordination to the extent required by law and our engagement.
15 Professional responsibility
We will provide the agreed service with reasonable professional care and diligence. Responsibility for any loss will be determined under applicable law, taking account of its cause and each party's obligations.
We do not accept responsibility for consequences attributable solely to matters outside our agreed scope, inaccurate or late client information, or circumstances beyond our reasonable control. These provisions do not excuse our own negligence, breach of contract or failure to take reasonable steps required within the engagement.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for fraud, deliberate wrongdoing or any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or restricted. Consumer rights and remedies for non-performance or defective performance remain fully available.
16 Confidentiality and personal data
We treat client information as confidential. We disclose it only with authority, as needed to perform the engagement using appropriate safeguards, or where required or permitted by law. Legal reporting obligations may sometimes prevent us from informing you of a disclosure.
Personal data is processed under the GDPR and applicable Spanish data-protection legislation. Our separate Privacy Policy explains purposes, lawful bases, recipients, retention and your rights. These terms do not constitute consent to marketing.
Where we process personal data on your behalf as a processor, for example in an agreed payroll service, we will put the required data-processing arrangements in place separately.
17 Electronic security
We take appropriate precautions to protect electronic communications and information. Email and third-party platforms cannot be guaranteed to be free from interruption or unauthorised access.
Tell us promptly about suspected compromise or unusual payment instructions. Verify any unexpected change to bank details through a contact method you already know before transferring funds.
Responsibility for fraud or security incidents will be assessed under applicable law and the parties' respective obligations. This section does not transfer to you responsibility for a failure in our own security or professional care.
18 Suspension termination and handover
An engagement may end by completion, agreement or notice under the applicable service terms. Statutory cancellation and withdrawal rights remain unaffected.
We may suspend or end an engagement for material non-payment, persistent failure to provide essential information, materially false information, unlawful instructions, a conflict or legal restriction preventing us from acting, or abusive or threatening behaviour. Where the issue can reasonably be remedied, we will explain it and allow a reasonable opportunity to resolve it.
We will give written notice identifying the effective date and, where relevant, outstanding work and deadlines. Immediate suspension or termination may be necessary where continuing would be unlawful or there is a serious threat. We will take reasonable lawful steps to avoid unnecessary prejudice, including explaining any need to appoint another adviser.
You must pay for work properly performed and authorised costs properly incurred. We will account for advance payments and refund sums due for services not provided, subject to applicable law. Termination does not remove remedies for defective service.
We will return your original documents and provide records and completed filing confirmations needed for an orderly handover, subject to legal retention duties and appropriate identity and authority checks. We will not withhold your original documents merely to secure payment of a disputed fee.
19 Consumer withdrawal rights
If you contract as a consumer at a distance, including online, by telephone or by email under an organised distance contracting arrangement, or away from our business premises, you normally have 14 calendar days from conclusion of the service contract to withdraw without giving a reason. A longer period applies where mandatory law requires it, including 30 calendar days for contracts arising from qualifying unsolicited home visits or organised excursions. A service contracted in person at our business premises does not generally carry this statutory withdrawal right.
To withdraw, send a clear statement to katrina@inspiredconsultinggc.com or to our address in section 1. You may use the optional form in section 20, but it is not compulsory. Sending your notice before the withdrawal period ends is sufficient. We will acknowledge notices received electronically in a form you can retain.
We will refund payments due following withdrawal without undue delay and within 14 calendar days of receiving your notice, using the original payment method unless you expressly agree otherwise. No refund fee will be charged.
If you want us to start during the withdrawal period, we will obtain your separate express request and, for a paid service, your acknowledgement that full performance will end the withdrawal right. Acceptance of these general terms alone is not that request.
If you withdraw after work has started at your express request, you must pay only the proportionate amount lawfully due for services provided up to withdrawal, assessed against the agreed total price or the market value where the total price is excessive. We will deduct that amount from any refund or explain any balance due. No such charge applies where the legally required information or express request was not obtained.
For a paid service, the withdrawal right is lost after full performance only where performance began with your prior express consent and your acknowledgement that full performance would end that right. Starting work, opening a file or submitting an application does not by itself establish that the entire agreed service has been fully performed.
If withdrawal information has not been provided as legally required, the withdrawal period is extended in accordance with the law. These provisions do not restrict other cancellation rights or remedies for breach.
20 Optional withdrawal form
Complete and send this form only if you wish to withdraw from an eligible consumer contract.

21 Complaints
Please send complaints to katrina@inspiredconsultinggc.com, call +34 695 116 159 or write to the address in section 1. You may also use the channel through which you contracted. Explain the matter and include the relevant service or invoice reference.
We will acknowledge the complaint in a form you can retain and respond as soon as possible, within 15 calendar days of receiving it, or sooner where required by law.
Official hojas de reclamaciones are available as required by applicable Canary Islands rules. You may also approach the competent consumer authority. If a complaint cannot be resolved, we will provide any information about alternative dispute resolution required by law, including whether we will participate in the relevant procedure. Your right to pursue legal remedies is unaffected.
22 Documents and intellectual property
Our original templates, guides and explanatory materials remain our intellectual property to the extent protected by law. You may retain, copy and use documents prepared for you for their intended purpose and share them with authorities and your other advisers as necessary.
Our proprietary general materials may not be sold, commercially distributed or otherwise exploited without permission. This does not restrict your rights in your own documents, data or records, or rights granted by law.
23 Website information
Website information describes our services and provides general guidance. It does not replace individual advice based on your circumstances. Browsing the website or making a general enquiry does not itself create an engagement.
Our Legal Notice, Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy provide separate information about the website and data use. They do not replace the service terms agreed with you.
24 Changes and validity
The terms supplied and accepted when you contract apply to that engagement. Publishing an updated version does not automatically change an existing contract. Changes to an existing engagement require valid agreement or a mandatory legal basis and appropriate notice.
If a provision is invalid or unenforceable, it will not bind the parties. The remaining contract continues only to the extent it can lawfully do so. An unfair consumer term will not be rewritten to reduce the consumer's statutory protection.
25 Applicable law and disputes
These terms and our services are governed by Spanish law. This choice does not deprive a consumer of mandatory protection applicable under relevant conflict-of-law rules, including protection available in their country of habitual residence where required.
Disputes will be heard by the courts competent under applicable procedural and jurisdiction rules. No exclusive choice of court is imposed by these standard terms. Mandatory consumer jurisdiction rights are preserved.
